ETSU University Commons is an outdoor gathering space on East Tennessee State University’s main campus in Johnson City. The lawn hosts campus programs, family activities and public events, including special celebrations during ETSU Family Weekend.

East Tennessee State University presents “Bucs Under the Stars,” a free public drone light show during ETSU Family Weekend and the university’s America 250 celebration. Music, games, family activities and food trucks begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by the drone show at 8:30 p.m. Guests are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair.
