Winged Deer Park is a 200-acre Johnson City park at 4137 Bristol Highway. Amenities include five lighted softball fields, three lighted soccer fields, batting cages, an 18-hole disc golf course, a playground, a half-mile walking track and paved fitness trails. The lakefront area includes sand volleyball courts, public boating access, green space, an accessible boardwalk, an amphitheater and Festival Plaza. The park also includes the historic Robert Young Cabin, the Massengill Monument and the James H. Quillen Historical Tree Arboretum. Park hours are 7am–7pm daily November through February and 7am–9pm daily March through October; hours may vary for scheduled activities.
