ETSU Faculty & Friends Chamber Series: A Nation Remembered
Friday, September 11 | 7:30–9:00 p.m. | ETSU Martin Center for the Arts
The Faculty & Friends Chamber Series opens with a free memorial concert in the ETSU Foundation Grand Hall. The program reflects on the American experience through music by Florence Price, Samuel Barber and Aaron Copland, along with a world premiere by ETSU composer Alex Zhang. Free tickets must be reserved.
Iron Mountains Invitational
Saturday, September 12 | 8:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m. | Winged Deer Park Lakeside
Hundreds of elementary, middle and high school runners from more than 60 schools are expected for this annual cross-country meet. Races and awards continue throughout the morning, and spectators can attend free.
Movies in the Park — Angels in the Outfield
Saturday, September 12 | 6:00–9:30 p.m. | TVA Credit Union Ballpark
Johnson City Parks and Recreation hosts a free outdoor movie night with games, arts and crafts, and giveaways beginning at 6 p.m. The screening starts around sunset, so bring blankets or portable seating.
